Snowny Hike Norway

It is a bit strange that I took this photo in early June and on top of a snowy mountain pass in Norway and the lovely photo of the sunset in California was in February. The weather is so different in each place. This area is very popular with cross country and downhill skiers but their are no lifts you have to hike and carry you gear up and then ski down. It was fun to have a snowball fight in June and even then some drifts at this area were up to four or five feet tall . It must be over ten feet high in the winter. Like all mountains the weather is very flexible at high altitudes and can be sunny for a few hours and super cold and windy hours later. Its a land of wild places and friendly people.
