Description:
A kind of flycatcher, the Eastern Phoebe is is a fairly common winter bird in my area. A loner, It's a gray bird whose body, other than its underparts, has to my eyes a little greenish-brownish tinge. Its two wing bars are quite faint. It feeds by hawking, does some tail-bobbing, and likes to nest on man-made structures. It lines its nests with feathers.
