A Dublin commission which was relatively unusual for Poole and a distinguished and quite different one it is. Poole had the pleasure of photographing many members of the nobility who were staunchly Unionist but in this image the main subject was almost fanatically Nationalist. Countess Constance Markiewicz with Theo Fitzgerald, Thomas McDonald and (hallelujah) a DOG.
