Description:
I was awakened this May Morning by the sound of the first cuckoo I have heard this season, so I leapt out of bed and stuck my voice recorder out of the window. Then I sat up in bed and recorded a reading of my paraphrase of Dafydd ap Gwilym's fourteenth century Welsh poem, 'May Month'. After that, I went out with my camera to walk in one of the beech hangers on the downs. This slide show, which is unfortunately too long to fit on Flickr, is the result: www.yourmic.com/videos/poetry-reading/467/may-month.html
