This is not the sun, rather, it is the full moon of January 12, 2017, seen at 6:48am over Lake Washington, from Melbourne, Florida, 14 minutes after the moon was 100% illuminated, and 27 minutes before sunrise (behind me).
It was still rather dark out, but a 3.2 exposure time and high ISO really brought out the color the sunrise was throwing into the sky.
Specs: Shot at 35mm, ISO2000, 3.2 second exposure, f22. Post-processing done in Lightroom, and then in Color Efex Pro 4, with final edits done (again) in Lightroom.
