A few photos of some of the Ice Ribbons (or Ice Flowers) that sprang up over night.
These ribbons are formed when the temperature drops below freezing. The liquid inside of the plant stalks freeze and then slowly burst out forming these winter designs. The more liquid there is in a stalk, the larger the ribbon/flower is.
This one is unusual because of the ribbing on the right side. I have not seen very many that has this.
