Is this the long-sought stained glass image of the Byzantine Emperor Carolus I who was known to have a long forked beard and mustache?
Well, not really. It's actually a figure that emerged from the pixel sea on its own as an unexpected byproduct of the software process that transformed a painting into a mandala. [Unfortunately, the photo of the lumpy wax surface of the painting is out of focus and what you see here is the best I could do to sharpen it.]
This image was not drawn by me or anyone else. There is nothing remotely like it in the painting it came from. It is a found object that I discovered and preserved, but no human mind was involved in its creation. And yet there it is.
