Raki-party in Pitsidia. Raki is a strong kind of Grappa, destilled on the spot in the marketplace, and there is food everywhere, mostly grilled meat.
Every household makes a dish, and for five Euro you can fill your tummi. The Raki is free, other drinks have to be paid,. Anything you order in a bar or restaurant is for your own expense.
It's the restaurants that pay for the party, and that Raki is pretty strong stuff (over 45% alc) ., so only the die-hards can keep it up.........The rest orders beer in the restaurants. And there is Cretan music and dancing (think of the sirtaki)
It is quite a party if you don't get busted on the nose........
